Stephen MacMahon
Stephen MacMahon is one of the founders of the George Institute for Global Health.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.georgeinstitute.org/institute-directors )〕 He currently holds positions as Principal Director of The George Institute for Global Health (worldwide)〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=NHMRC recognises Australia's best and brightest researchers )〕 He was formerly the Executive Director of the George Centre for Healthcare Innovation at the University of Oxford. He also holds professorial appointments in medicine at both the University of Sydney〔 and the University of Oxford, where he is a James Martin Professorial Fellow. He is a specialist in cardiovascular disease,〔 and also researches the treatment of chronic disease in the Asia-Pacific region.
MacMahon is the Chairman of the International Scientific Advisory Board of the UK Biobank〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.ukbiobank.ac.uk/international-scientific-advisory-board/ )〕 and the Executive Chairman of George Clinical Pty Ltd, subsidiaries of the George Institute.
